Kara Rehbaum, Hilbert College Interim Athletic Director, is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Craig Root as Hilbert College's newest head golf coach. Root, who brings over 18 years of teaching and golf management experience in the local community, will lead the 2018 Hawks golf program when they open their season in late August.

The Penn State Behrend men's golf team shot a 343 on day two of the 2018 NCAA Division III Championships hosted by Guilford at the Grandover Resort on Wednesday.

La Roche College senior golfer Ben Mullins has been named to the Division III PING All-Region Team.

All institution sport teams which compete for an AMCC championship may select one member from their team who displays good sportsmanship throughout the season to be a member of the All-AMCC Sportsmanship Team.

Perfett was the individual champion at the 2017 AMCC Championships. He was tied for first after day one with a 72 and then shot three-under par with a season-low 69 for a 141 two-day total to win medalist honors.

Posting a two day team score of 588, Penn St. Behrend has won their tenth AMCC men's golf championship. It was the seventh straight title for the Lions, who placed all five golfers in the top ten. Penn St. Altoona took the runner-up trophy with a two-day score of XXX (XXX + XXX), followed by Medaille College with a XXX (XXX + XXX). Penn St. Behrend will represent the AMCC at the NCAA Division III Championship
The Penn State Behrend men's golf team shot a team-low 295 to lead the AMCC Championship on Sunday at the Avalon Lakes Golf and Country Club.

Four AMCC men's golf teams returned to action this afternoon in the Hilbert College Invitational. The tournament was held at Brierwood Country Club in Hamburg, NY and was the final tune-up of the year before heading to the AMCC Championships this weekend.
Penn State Behrend freshman Jack Perfett and senior Sean Sculley led the Behrend men's golf team to victory at the James Bowen Invitational hosted by Penn State Behrend on Monday afternoon.

Moonan put together his best round of the season as he shot a 75, good for third-best en route to leading the Panthers to a second-place finish at the Westminster College Invitational.

The Penn State Behrend men's golf team finished runners-up at the 2017 ECAC Division III Men's Golf Championships on Sunday at the Ravenwood Golf Club in Victor, New York.
