April 21, 2025Louis was a double winner vs. Nazareth in non-conference action on Tuesday. After dropping the first set, 4-6, he won the next 6-4 and battled back from being down 5-1 in the third set, winning six games in a row for the 7-5 win. -

April 07, 2025Hess had a dominant week for the Lions, surrendering just two games in a combined nine sets in singles and doubles. In a win at non-conference opponent Lycoming on Friday night, he had a 6-1, 6-0 win in No. 1 singles and a 6-1 victory at No. 1 doubles. In Sunday's doubleheader sweep at AMCC foe Pitt-Greensburg, he won both of his No. 1 singles matches by 6-0, 6-0 decisions, and was also part of a pair of 6-0 wins at No. 1 doubles. The senior went 3-0 overall in No. 1 singles and 3-0 in No. 1 doubles. -

March 31, 2025Laier was undefeated in AMCC action in both singles and doubles last week. He posted wins at the No. 1 spot, helping the Lions avenge a 5-2 loss to Altoona last week. Laier registered a 6-1, 6-4 win at No. 1 singles and also tallied a 6-2 doubles decision. -

March 17, 2025Beard teamed up with Casey Hess for a 6-0 victory in the No. 1 doubles match, then posted the match-clinching win for the Lions with his 7-5, 6-2 triumph at No. 2 singles in Saturday's 7-0 win at non-conference opponent Penn College. -

February 24, 2025Lopez had wins in both singles and doubles on Sunday afternoon, as the Lions tennis team returned to action with a 5-2 victory on the road over non-conference opponent St. Vincent in Penn State Altoona's first match of the spring. Gabriel had his team's lone win in doubles play, partnering with Nick Beard for a 6-3 victory in the No. 2 match. In singles, his win in the No. 5 spot clinched the match win for Penn State Altoona, as he pulled out a 4-6, 7-6 (7-4), 13-11 decision over his opponent. -
