Fritch placed fifth at the Grove City Invitational, continuing her strong freshman campaign. Fritch shot an 81 and adds another top-five finish to her resume.

Fritch picked up her first collegiate victory as she took home the individual title at the AMCC Invitational after carding a 90 at the Summit Country Club in Cresson, PA. Fritch did so in exciting fashion, as she won on the first playoff hole to earn the top award on the day.

Fritch placed 15th at the Guy and Jeanne Kuhn Invitational, hosted by Allegheny College. Fritsch recorded scores of 84-83 in a very strong field consisting of 50 golfers.

Hope shot the best round of her collegiate career to lead the Celtics with an 84. She hit three pars on the day and sank two birdies on the back nine to tie for 20th out of 74 golfers at the Susquehanna Invitational.

Fritch made an immediate impact for the Mount Aloysius women's golf team this past weekend, turning in a strong debut across two tournaments. She opened her collegiate career with an 81 at the Thiel Fall Invitational, earning a fifth-place finish out of 46 individuals. Fritch carried that momentum into the Sinking Valley Collegiate Classic (Penn State Altoona), where her opening-round 81 put her in second place after day one. She followed with an impressive 78 on day two, leading the way for the Mounties and securing a runner-up finish, finishing just one stroke shy of the individual winner.

The Carlow University and Penn State Altoona women’s golf programs have partnered with five other Division III teams to found the Colonial Women’s Golf Conference (CWGC), which was announced as having been officially approved for active NCAA Division III single-sport conference status on Thursday morning.
