June 07, 2025The Alfred State College Athletic Department proudly announces Steve Peed as the new women's lacrosse head coach. Peed will become the program's second head coach after their inaugural season in 2025. -

Kiki Nemcek, La Roche University, Women's Lacrosse (Defensive)
April 28, 2025Nemcek helped lead the Redhawks to their first AMCC Regular Season Title in program history. In the 16-9 victory on Mount Aloysius in the regular season finale, Nemcek ended the day with nine caused turnovers, five ground balls and 10 draw controls. On the offensive end, Nemcek chipped in a pair of goals and a pair of assists. Nemcek currently sits second nationally in caused turnovers per game (3.92), is tied third nationally in caused turnovers (51) and ranks 10th nationally in ground balls per game (4.69). -
Alecia D'Urso, La Roche University, Women's Lacrosse (Offensive)
April 28, 2025D'Urso played a pivotal role in La Roche winning its first AMCC Regular Season Championship, providing a spark on the offensive end in a 16-9 win over Mt. Aloysius. D'Urso scored four goals and assisted on another four to be a part of 50% of the Redhawk goals scored in the game. D'Urso enters the postseason leading the AMCC in scoring (69 points), goals (51) and is third in assists (18). -
Shelby Smeal, Mount Aloysius College, Women's Lacrosse (Defensive)
April 21, 2025Smeal led the Mounties on defense, as they went 2-0 on the week. She picked up nine ground balls over the two games, caused six turnovers and grabbed five draw controls. In the Mounties' AMCC win against Hilbert, she had five ground balls and four caused turnovers, as she continually disrupted the Hawks' offense. Smeal currently ranks in the top five in the AMCC in all defensive categories outside of saves. -
Cassidy Cook, Mount Aloysius College, Women's Lacrosse (Offensive)
April 21, 2025Cook led the Mounties to a 2-0 week, including a conference victory over Hilbert. In their victory over Cedar Crest, Cook scored four times and grabbed six draw controls, while also causing two turnovers. Then, on Saturday, Cook scored seven goals, one off the program single-game record. She also grabbed five draw controls and dished out an assist in the game, as the Mounties outscored their opponents by a combined 30-10 score. -
Kiki Nemcek, La Roche University, Women's Lacrosse (Defensive)
April 14, 2025Nemcek once again was all over the field for the Redhawks in their 2-0 week. In a victory over Mount Aloysius on Thursday, Nemcek scooped up a game high eight ground balls, caused two turnovers and added a pair of goals. She followed that performance in Saturday's win over Hilbert, with seven ground balls, four caused turnovers, eight draw controls and four more goals. For the week, Nemcek had six goals, 15 ground balls, eight draw controls and caused six turnovers. -
Abigail Lussier, Alfred State College, Women's Lacrosse (Offensive)
April 14, 2025Lussier led the Pioneers to a 1-1 week. She tallied 10 goals, two assists, five ground balls, and seven draw controls across two games. She opened the week with a seven goal two assist game against Hilbert. She followed that performance with a hat trick against Mt. Aloysius. -

April 07, 2025Nemcek dominated on the defensive end for the Redhawks in their 2-0 week. In Wednesday's victroy over Ursuline, Nemcek scooped up seven ground balls, picked up five draw controls and caused four turnovers, while scoring a pair of goals. In Saturday's win over Alfred State, she added another five ground balls, six caused turnovers, a draw control and scored two more goals. For the week, she finished with 12 ground balls, 10 caused turnovers, six draw controls and four goals. Nemcek is currently tied second nationally in caused turnovers per game at 3.78. -
Jasey Reiser, La Roche University, Women's Lacrosse (Offensive)
April 07, 2025Reiser had yet another fantastic offensive week for the Redhawks as they went 2-0. In Wednesday's win over Ursuline, Reiser came through with seven goals, three assists, two ground balls, 11 draw controls and one caused turnover. She followed that performance in Saturday's win over Alfred State with two goals, four assists, two ground balls and three more draw controls. For the week, Reiser scored nine goals, added seven assists, totaled 16 points, had four ground balls, 14 draw controls and the caused turnover. -
AMCC, UNITED EAST ANNOUNCE PARTNERSHIP IN WOMEN'S LACROSSE

Jasey Reiser, La Roche University, Women's Lacrosse (Defensive)
March 31, 2025Reiser typically controls the Redhawk offense, but the senior attack for La Roche was dominant on both ends in the Redhawks 21-6 win over Hilbert to open AMCC play. On the defensive end, Reiser picked up five ground balls, tied for a game-high with four caused turnovers and added three draw controls. She parlayed her defensive play into great offense, scoring four goals, picking up one assist and was 1-for-1 from free position. -
Jade Fuccaro, La Roche University, Women's Lacrosse (Offensive)
March 31, 2025Fuccaro had a dominant start to AMCC play on Saturday, helping lead the Redhawks to a 21-6 victory over Hilbert. Fuccaro would go on to score 1/3 of La Roche's goals, netting seven on the day, to set a new career high. She was 1-for-2 from free position and added two ground balls. -
Olivia Cleary, Hilbert College, Women's Lacrosse (Defensive)
March 24, 2025Cleary had a fantastic week in net, with a combined 26 saves between two games. Against Elmira, Hilbert went 24-for-26 on clears, with many starting with Cleary's clears and communication. Cleary also had a very impressive 73.3% save percentage in the program's first win since 2018. She was the voice of the Hawk defense, only allowing four goals against Elmira. Hilbert has not held an opponent to four goals since 2017. -
Alecia D'Urso, La Roche University, Women's Lacrosse (Offensive)
March 24, 2025D'Urso continued her impressive freshman campaign in La Roche's 1-1 week. Against Franciscan on Wednesday, D'Urso picked up a pair of goals, an assist and a draw control. She followed up in Saturday's win over Trinity (D.C.) with a career high seven goals, another assist, two ground balls and a caused turnover. For the week, she recorded nine goals and two assists for 11 points. D'Urso now has 28 goals on the season to lead the AMCC. -
Kiki Nemcek, La Roche University, Women's Lacrosse (Defensive)
March 17, 2025Nemcek put together one of the best all-around games in La Roche's young program history. In a 12-9 win over St. Vincent, Nemcek led the way defensively, causing a career-high nine turnovers, only one off the program record, scooped up a career-best seven ground balls and brought in four draw controls. On the offensive end, Nemcek scored four goals and added an assists for five points. -
Cassidy Cook, Mount Aloysius College, Women's Lacrosse (Offensive)
March 17, 2025Cook led the Mounties on offense against Geneva, as they recorded their first win of the season. She had a team-high four goals, while also adding an assist, to lead the Mounties with five points. Cook also picked up two ground balls and grabbed seven draw controls. -
Julianna Hornikel, La Roche University, Women's Lacrosse (Defensive)
March 10, 2025Hornikel was strong in goal during La Roche's 2-0 week. In Tuesday's win over Bethany, Hornikel stoped 13 shots, scooped up a ground ball and caused a turnover. Hornikel picked up her second victory of the week over Spalding, stopping 11 more shots, picked up three ground balls and caused two more turnovers. For the week, Hornikel stopped 24 of 40 shots she faced, nearly a .500 save percentage, had four ground balls and caused three turnovers. -

March 10, 2025Reiser had a strong week for La Roche, as the Redhawks went 2-0. In Tuesday's victory over Bethany, Reiser scored four goals, added two assists, eight draw controls and had a ground ball. She followed that performance in Saturday's victory over Spalding with six goals, three assists, six draw controls and a pair of ground balls. For the week, Reiser recorded 15 points (10 goals, five assists), 14 draw controls and three ground balls. -
Cassidy Cook, Mount Aloysius College, Women's Lacrosse (Defensive)
March 03, 2025Cook contributed all over the field, as she scored three goals. However, her biggest impact was on the defensive end, where she grabbed five ground balls and caused five turnovers. She also had six draw controls, as the Mounties narrowly lost at Saint Vincent, 12-11. -

March 03, 2025D'Urso had an incredible start to her Redhawk career in a dominant victory over Geneva. D'Urso fell just one point shy of matching the single game points record, scoring six goals and adding four assists. She was 1-for-1 from free position, scooped up two ground balls and caused three turnovers. -
