BEHREND, ALTOONA COMPETE AT GUY & JEANNE KUHN MEMORIAL INVITATIONAL

The Penn State Behrend men's golf team finished ninth, while Penn State Altoona was right behind them in tenth place, out of 18 teams at the Guy & Jeanne Kuhn Memorial Invitational held by Allegheny College at the Country Club of Meadville on Monday.

Wittenberg University remained out front to win with a 605 (299-306) and RPI was second with a 606 (309-297). The Behrend Lions, who were in 11th after yesterday's round, moved up two places with a 311 for the course today to total of 632. After scoring 318 on Sunday, Penn State Altoona improved by three shots to finish Monday's round with 315. The Lions' combined score of 633 put them in 10th place. 

Ryan Quinn of RPI was the individual medalist with a two-day total of 143 (74-69). Behrend freshman Jack Perfett continued to lead Behrend on day two. He posted a 75 to go with 74 from yesterday to finish with a 149 and in ninth place.

Altoona freshman Luke Hoffnagle shot 78 on Monday, finishing the day 6-over par to lead Penn State Altoona. With a two-day score of 151, Hoffnagle tied for 12th place individually out of 99 golfers.
