The Medaille College "blue" golf team placed first out of four teams shooting 319/+35 as a team to secure the win at the D'Youville College Invitational on Monday. Hilbert College came in second by shooting a 338/+54, the Medaille "gold" team was third (357/+73), and D'Youville finished fourth (391/+107).
The invitational saw a four-way tie for first place with four different golfers earning a score of 79/+8, including Medaille sophomores Bobby Merino and Ryan Langhorne, and senior Corey Donoghue, along with Hilbert junior Jeffrey Morgan. Bobby Merino took home medalist honors after posting a (35/+0) on the back nine.
D'Youville freshman Lucas Maciejewski was the top finisher for the Spartans, coming in fifth place after carding a 82/+11.
