HILBERT, MEDAILLE, D'YOUVILLE COMPETE AT KEUKA INVITATIONAL

The Hilbert College, Medaille College, and D'Youville College men's golf teams all traveled to Keuka College on Wednesday to take park in tke Keuka College Fall Invitational.

SUNY Delhi took took the championship with a team score of 315, eight lower than second-placed Oswego State. Hilbert, the highest-placing AMCC team, lowered their 2016 team score by 30 strokes and finished in fifth place after carding a 341 team score.  Medaille finished the day with a 347 team score, good enough for sixth place, while D'Youville finished in 10th place with a 406.

Hilbert juniors Caleb Nellis and Jeffrey Morgan swung to a team-best 84/+12 finishing just ahead of Joe Rappold's 86/+14 and junior Ryan Bungo's 87/+15.

The Mavs were led by senior Adam Kroll who shot an 83/+11. Kroll finished tied for 11th overall in the tournament. Senior Corey Donoghue shot an 85/+13 while junior Chuck Panepinto shot an 88/+16.

D'Youville senior Sean Corp led the Spartans by shooting a 90/+18 and tying for 33rd place.
