After a strong winter sports season for Penn State Behrend, the Lions remain in the lead for the AMCC Presidents Cup title.

                                            Eight AMCC men's wrestlers have been named 2025 NCAA Division III Scholar All-Americans announced by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA).
                                            AMCC wrestlers got back on the mats this weekend, as the grapplers competed in the NCAA Division III Region III regional tournaments, hosted by Lycoming College and Messiah University.
                                            Penn State Behrend sophomore Nolan Fenton has been named the 2025 AMCC Men's Wrestler of the Year.
                                            In just its second season in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference, Penn College's wrestling team has risen to the top as it dominated Saturday's championships, sending 18 to the podium — eight of them champions — and finishing with 191 points in a five-team field.
                                            The AMCC Men's Wrestling Championship is set for this Saturday, February 15 at Penn State Behrend's Junker Center. The first bouts will begin at 10:00am.
                                            Perry (197) bounced back after suffering a loss in his opening match, as he followed with a 10-4 decision win over Nathan Coon (St. John Fisher). After notching back-to-back falls over Judson Ferris (St. John Fisher) in 2:28 and Geoffry Kaminsky (Ohio Wesleyan) in 2:43, he earned a spot in the third-place match. In that match, he took a 5-3 decision win over Simon Lingle (Brockport) for third place, as he went 4-1 on the day.
                                            Hunt (141) posted a 5-0 record with four first-period falls and a tech fall in his first competition back from injury and down to 141 pounds. The Wildcat senior started the week with a pin over Keystone's Justin Santiago on Senior Night. He followed up with a 4-0 day and an individual title at Lycoming College's Rennie Rodarmel Invite. Hunt improved to 11-5 on the season and is just five wins shy of becoming the program's first 100-career-match winner.
                                            Slovick went 5-1 for the Panthers with a third place finish at the Jamestown Open. He went 4-1 at the Open, pinning four opponents, while only losing to a Division I wrestler. He also scored the only points for the Panthers in a dual meet loss at St. John Fisher, winning by a 4-1 decision.
                                            Woodruff (197) extended his winning streak to six matches and an undefeated dual record after a 3-0 weekend. The 197-pounder recorded two pins and a major decision against US Merchant Marine Academy, Hunter College and New York University. Woodruff started the day with a 6:54 fall and 1:36 fall against his Merchant Marine and Hunter College opponents, respectively, before capping the night with a 17-5 major decision against Mark Dickey of NYU.
                                            Brotzman (285) was one of three Wildcats to post a 3-0 record to help lead his team to an undefeated AMCC dual record. The sophomore heavyweight pinned all three opponents in the first period, accumulating just 7:02 minutes of mat time. Brotzman started his day with a 1:10 pin of Alfred State's Keaton Renfrow to close out a 30-17 dual meet victory. He added a 2:55 pin against Penn State Behrend's Matthew Caldwell and a 2:57 fall against Pitt-Bradford's Cameron Carter-Green.
                                            Bentley (110/117) went a perfect 5-0 this past week in a pair of events held at Price Gymnasium on the campus of Hiram College. Three of those wins were all by fall within one minute of each bout starting.
                                            AMCC wrestling teams took to the mats on Saturday at Pitt-Bradford, competing in the AMCC duals as conference opponents all went head-to-head.
                                            AMCC wrestling schools will take to the mats this Saturday, January 11 at Pitt-Bradford for the AMCC Duals.
