LA ROCHE, O'TOOLE WIN MOUNT ALOYSIUS GOLF INVITATIONAL

La Roche College shot a 301 as a team to earn a first place victory on Sunday afternoon at the Mount Aloysius College Invitational. Junior Tom O'Toole earned his first career win while the Redhawks edged out Penn State Behrend, which carded a 302, for the team win. With a score of 304, Pitt-Greensburg rounded out the top three finishers.

O'Toole paced the Redhawks at Summit Country Club. He shot a career-best 2-under par 70 to win the invitational by three strokes. Senior Ben Mullins shot a 74 to place in the top five for the fourth straight match and freshman David Wilson enjoyed a top 10 finish with a 76. Junior Kordell Collins entered the clubhouse with an 81 to help the Redhawks edge Penn State Behrend by a stroke. Sophomore Pat McCall shot a 76 to place in the top 10 as an individual.

Behrend freshman Jack Perfett led the Lions with a third place finish by carding a 73. Junior Noah Kunst was the other top 10 finisher for the Lions as he shot a 75 to tie for eight place.

Pitt-Greensburg was led by senior Austin Reay, who tied for fourth with a 74 and junior Javon Trout who carded a 75 and tied for eighth.

Penn State Altoona freshman Luke Hoffnagle and sophomore Pete Thongyai both tied for fourth place with a pair of 74's.
