LA ROCHE'S BEN MULLINS NAMED MEN'S GOLFER OF THE YEAR AS ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM IS ANNOUNCED

La Roche College senior Ben Mullins has been named the 2017 AMCC Men's Golfer of the Year, becoming the first Redhawk to earn the honor since the 2011 season. Mullins led the AMCC with a 73.57 scoring average and placed second at the 2017 AMCC Championships. He won the Grove City Invitational, Penn State Altoona Invitational and went to a playoff in the Pitt-Bradford Invitational. Mullins was named third team all-conference after his freshman season and finished his career by earning a spot on the first team the following three seasons.

Newcomer of the Year honors goes to Penn State Behrend freshman Jack Perfett. Perfett carded a conference-low score of 69 on the second day of the AMCC Championships to earn medalist honors with a 141 total. It was his second win of the season, coming off the Behrend Invitational victory with a 73 for 18-holes. He averaged 75.46 throughout the season, ranking him second in the conference behind Mullins.

Pitt-Bradford head coach Keith Stauffer picks up Coach of the Year honors after leading the Panthers to a fourth place finish in both the regular season and at the conference championship, while coaching three players to the all-conference team.
