Moder helped lead UPG to clinching the three seed in the AMCC Tournament with wins in #1 singles and #1 doubles against Mount Aloysius. Moder then finished the regular season strong with wins in #1 singles and #1 doubles against NCAA DII opponent Clarion on Sunday.
Morgan went 2-0 in singles and 1-0 in doubles during a 2-0 week of play for the Lions. In a road win at non-conference opponent Penn College on Friday she won 6-0, 6-0 in her No. 5 singles match. In a home victory over AMCC foe Pitt-Greensburg on Sunday, she prevailed 1-6, 6-1, 10-8 in No. 4 singles for the match-clinching point, and she also moved up the doubles lineup to compete in the No. 1 spot, where she was part of a 6-3 win.
Stricek went 3-0 in singles and 2-1 in doubles last week as the Lions went 3-0 against AMCC opponent La Roche and non-conference foes Geneva and Lock Haven. In Friday's home win over conference opponent La Roche, she wont 6-4, 6-0 at No. 1 singles and 6-3 at No. 1 doubles. On Saturday, in a home victory against non-conference opponent Geneva, she pulled out a 6-7 (5-7), 6-3, 10-5 win at No. 2 singles and also prevailed 6-2 at No. 1 doubles. On Sunday, in a road win at Division II opponent Lock Haven, she scored a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 2 singles.
Colaianni went 2-0 in both singles and doubles last week in Penn State Altoona's victories over Lycoming and Mount Aloysius. In Friday's win at non-conference foe Lycoming, she win 6-1, 6-0 in No. 2 singles an 6-0 in No. 2 doubles. On Sunday at home, in a victory over AMCC opponent Mount Aloysius, she had a 7-5, 7-6 (7-2) win at No. 3 singles and won 6-0 again in No. 3 doubles.
Kerlin tallied three straight singles wins and two doubles in a 3-0 week for the Lions. She blanked her opponent vs. Fredonia at No. 4 singles and only gave up five set points in the two AMCC wins.
Siljkovic went undefeated in both singles and doubles in a pair of AMCC matches to start the season. She tallied two wins at No. 2 singles and two wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles.
Colaianni had a dominant performance in both singles and doubles for the Lions on opening weekend, helping Penn State Altoona go 2-0 while ascending the singles lineup to the No. 3 spot after being No. 6 last season. In Saturday's victory at AMCC opponent Carlow, she blanked her opponent 6-0, 6-0 in No. 3 singles while posting a 6-1 win at No. 3 doubles. She continued her success Sunday in a non-conference road match at Waynesburg, winning 6-2, 6-4 in No. 3 singles and 6-0 in No. 3 doubles.
