Christie was instrumental in the Mavs securing the 2017 AMCC Championship. Christie started off the week by blanking #2 Mount Aloysius, making eight saves in the shutout effort. He played even better in the AMCC Championship game. Christie made three huge saves in regulation, allowing only one goal on a penalty kick early in the second half. Christie then came up big in the penalties, making three stops. Christie also scored what would be the game-clinching goal in the seventh round of penalties.
