October 07, 2024Treonze had his best round of the year and was the top finisher for the Bobcats for the first time this season. he shot a 76 for a top-six finish and helped the Bobcats to a fifth place finish in Grove City. -
Zach Abdallah, Pitt-Greensburg, Men's Golf
September 23, 2024Abdallah finished as the top individual in both events the Bobcats competed in this week. On Monday, he won the Saint Vincent Invite on a walk-off chip in to win a tiebreak, finishing with a 76 on the day. He then took the top spot at the NCAA Region V Showcase this past weekend, with a two-round total of 143. He has been the Bobcats' top finisher in every event this season. -
PENN STATE ALTOONA MEN'S GOLF RECEIVES VOTES IN TOP 25 POLL
September 20, 2024For the first time in Penn State Altoona men’s golf program history, the team appeared in the national top 25 poll, as the Lions received four votes in the Bushnell/Golfweek Division III Coaches Poll released on Friday morning. -
Zachary Abdallah, Pitt-Greensburg, Men's Golf
September 16, 2024Abdallah was the top finisher for the Bobcats who repeated as Bison Invite champions. He recorded a score of 76 and finished in third place out of 49 golfers and led the Bobcats to their second team win of the season. -
Nicky Riscica, Penn State Altoona, Men's Golf
September 09, 2024Riscica put together two solid rounds in his Lions debut this past weekend, during the two-day Mountain Valley Collegiate Classic. In Friday's round at the Lions' home course, Sinking Valley Country Club, he led all AMCC golfers by shooting a 73, 1-over par. He followed that up with a 5-over-par score, 77, in Saturday's round at Summit Country Club. Riscica totaled 150 across the two rounds to tie for ninth place out of 110 individuals. -
Josh Nicholl, Mount Aloysius College, Men's Golf
September 03, 2024Nicholl carded a two-under par, 70, in his first ever tournament for Mount Aloysius, one behind the leader after Day One. Nicholl added a 75 on Sunday, for a two-day total of 145, which earned him a spot tied for second. His two-day total tied him for the program record in a two-day tournament, while his single round of 70 is the best ever shot by a Mountie freshman. The team score of 290 on the first day was also a program record for a single round. -
PENN STATE ALTOONA'S DiTRANI SELECTED AS COBALT ALL-AMERICAN SCHOLAR
July 29, 2024Penn State Altoona men's golf sophomore Jack DiTrani was named to the 2023-24 NCAA Division III Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars list last Thursday, when the academic recognition was announced in conjunction with the Golf Coaches Association of America.
