The #1 Penn State Behrend Lions and #2 Pitt-Greensburg Bobcats each earned a victory in the semifinal round of the AMCC Women's Soccer Championship Tournament to advance to the title game to be played on Saturday afternoon.

Vought became extremely important for the Mounties as she recently returned from injury. In two wins last week, she registered a shutout in the Mounties' victory against Altoona, with nine saves, securing a spot in the AMCC Tournament. Then, in the Mounties' First Round win, she stopped another eight shots to give them a 3-1 win. For the week, Vought recorded one shutout, 17 saves and a .944 save percentage, all above her season averages.

Despot helped the Mounties go 2-0 last week, including the game-winning goal in the AMCC Tournament victory against La Roche. She scored the insurance goal in the Mounties' 2-0 victory against Penn State Altoona, which secured them a playoff position earlier in the week. Her two goals pushed her into a tie for fifth on the AMCC leaderboard with 10 goals scored this season.

The AMCC Women's Soccer Championship Tournament kicks off this weekend as Penn State Behrend has clinched the #1 seed for the tournament championship.

Penn State Altoona travels to local rival Mount Aloysius College on Tuesday evening to take on the Mounties in the final AMCC Women's Soccer Game of the Week this season. The Lions are 4-3-1 in conference play and currently sit in fifth place in AMCC standings. The 4-4 Mounties are in a do-or-die situation, where they must either tie or win this matchup in order to make the postseason tournament.

Zabawa led the Hawks to undefeated week, as Hilbert went 2-0-1 against AMCC opponents. Zabawa had an all-around week, playing through the midfield, she showed off more than her scoring side last week with fantastic defensive performances and game controlling play with mulitple blocked shots and tackles. Zabawa also added three assists and two goals on the week.

Smith helped propel the Lions to a 2-0 week of AMCC play, helping her team to home wins over conference opponents Carlow and Pitt-Bradford that clinched a playoff berth for Penn State Altoona. In Wednesday afternoon's win over Carlow, Smith scored two goals and put four shots on goal in 11 attempts. In Saturday afternoon's victory against Pitt-Bradford, Smith finished with a goal and an assist on her Senior Day while taking eight shots, putting six on target. On the week, Smith had three goals and one assist for a total of seven points.

Pannebaker played the full 90 in two games this week in which the Bobcats recorded two clean sheets, as UPG beat Mount Aloysius 2-0 and Pitt-Bradford 6-0. The Bobcats back line conceded just five shots on goal in the two games.

Sickeri scored three goals and handed out two assists for eight points in a 2-0 week for the Lions. She tallied one goal and one assist vs. Alfred State and then scored twice with one assist vs. Altoona. For the season, she has seven goals and five assists (all in conference games).

Sproul tallied two shutouts while notching 11 saves on the week. Sproul recorded two saves in the 4-0 victory over Hilbert before picking up nine saves in the 0-0 tie against Carlow.

Wertelet scored five goals on the week and also tallied an assist, with three of the goals coming against Wells in a 11-0 victory for the Bobcats. In that match, the Bobcats set a school record for goals in a match as well a points in a match. The team also recorded the second most shots in a match in program history.

Schwartz surrendered just one goal in two starts for the Lions, helping her team go 1-0-1 in AMCC play. In Tuesday's 0-0 tie at La Roche, she made six stops between the pipes. In Saturday's 3-1 win at Alfred State, the freshman recorded three saves to notch her second victory of the season. On the week, Schwartz was 1-0-1 with nine saves and a .900 save percentage.

Zabawa had a stellar week for the Hawks as she recorded nine total points in two games with three goals and three assists all while playing multiple positions on the field. Zabawa started the week with one goal and two assists in a 3-2 win over Bryant & Stratton, Syracuse before adding two goals and one assist in a 5-4 victory over conference opponent Mount Aloysius.

Morningstar had nine stops against No. 8 Case Western, holding the Spartans to one goal on Wednesday, before holding La Roche scoreless in 75 minutes of work in the AMCC opener on Saturday.

Smith had a huge week for the Lions, including a record-setting day in Saturday's home win, when she set a new Penn State Altoona women's soccer program record for the most goals scored in a game. In Wednesday night's 4-1 loss on the road at non-conference foe Penn College, she scored the Lions' lone goal and finished with three shot attempts, putting two on goal. In Saturday's AMCC opener, a big 12-0 victory over visiting Wells, she scored six goals to establish a new Lions single-game goals record while finishing with 10 shot attempts, putting eight on goal. On the week, Smith had seven goals for a total of 14 points, 13 shot attempts, and 10 shots on goal.

Despot continued her productive season on offense, scoring both Mountie goals during the week. In their loss to Lycoming on Wednesday, she scored their only goal in the contest. She followed that up with a game-tying goal, which proved crucial in the Mounties' 1-1 draw against Bethany. Her two goals have her leading the league overall, with four total, and also leading the league with eight total points.

Brown recorded a shutout in her first start in net as a freshman, logging 11 saves in the 1-0 victory for the Hawks. She was stellar in command of the team from net and owned her space all game long.

Gould opened her collegiate career scoring a pair of goals in La Roche's 1-1 opening weekend. In Friday's 3-0 win over Thiel, Gould netted a penalty kick, while taking three shots, with two on net. She followed that performance on Sunday, scoring the Redhawks' lone goal against W&J, as both of her shots were on target. Gould is the first freshman since 2018 to score in the opening game of the season for La Roche.
