OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona F/M Mallorie Smith helped propel the Lions to a 2-0 week of AMCC play, helping her team to home wins over conference opponents Carlow and Pitt-Bradford that clinched a playoff berth for Penn State Altoona. In Wednesday afternoon's win over Carlow, Smith scored two goals and put four shots on goal in 11 attempts. In Saturday afternoon's victory against Pitt-Bradford, Smith finished with a goal and an assist on her Senior Day while taking eight shots, putting six on target. On the week, Smith had three goals and one assist for a total of seven points. 

 

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend F Trinity Prestash scored a career-high four goals in a 7-0 win over Carlow on Saturday, recording nine points (4g, 1a) on the week and tallying the game-winner vs. the Celtics...Mount Aloysius M Katie Figinski had a career-day, as she scored four goals in a senior day win against Wells, while also tying the program record with four goals on the day...Alfred State M Jena Schelble tallied three goals and an assist for the week, as she started the week with an assist against Wells, then she notched a hat trick against Pitt Greensburg...Pitt-Greensburg F Megan Hickey scored a goal against Alfred State on Saturday and tallied two assists on the match, putting her at three assists for the week...Hilbert F Evin Stauffer recorded her first career hat trick along with her first game-winning goal in the 10-1 AMCC victory over Pitt-Bradford...Pitt-Bradford F Delaney Stowe scored her third goal of the season as she converted from the spot to give Pitt-Bradford an early lead at Hilbert.
