AMCC WOMEN'S SOCCER ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM RELEASED

Pitt-Greensburg sophomore F Maya Wertelet has been named the AMCC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Year. Wertelet led the AMCC in goals (17) and points (36) during the regular season. She scored 16 of her 17 goals and added two assists in AMCC action after making the switch from midfield to forward for conference play. 

Pitt-Greensburg senior M/D Nylah Pannebaker and Penn State Behrend senior M Kristi Buckenheimer have been tabbed as Co-Defensive Players of the Year.

Pannebaker started all 18 Games for the Bobcats this season. She led the team in minutes played and anchored a backline that gave up the second fewest goals in the conference. 

Buckenheimer started all nine conference games at centerback. She scored three goals as a defender in AMCC play and led the defense that only allowed two goals for a .22 goals-against average while posting seven shut outs. Overall, Buckenheimer helped the defense post a league-best 0.94 goals-against-average in 17 contests.

Penn State Behrend freshman forward Rachel Sickeri has been named the AMCC Newcomer of the Year. Sickeri led all freshmen in the conference with eight goals and 10 assists for 26 points in nine conference games. She led the AMCC with 10 assists and was fifth in points. Sickeri registered five points in the wins over Pitt-Bradford, Penn State Altoona and Hilbert. Overall, she finished the regular season ranked tied for first in assists and fifth in points.

Penn State Behrend's Patrick O'Driscoll and Hilbert College's Scott MacLean have been named Co-Coaches of the Year. O'Driscoll led the Behrend Lions to an 8-0-1 record in conference play and a share of the regular season title with Pitt-Greensburg. By virture of the tiebreaker, the Lions earned the No. 1 seed and hosting rights in the AMCC Championship Tournament. MacLean led the Hawks to a 5-3-1 record and the No. 3 seed in the championship tournament.
