PITT-GREENSBURG WOMEN'S SOCCER FINISHES AS ECAC RUNNER-UP
The Pitt-Greensburg women's soccer team's first appearance in the ECAC Tournament came to an end with a 6-0 loss to the hawks of University of Hartford on Sunday.
The Pitt-Greensburg women's soccer team's first appearance in the ECAC Tournament came to an end with a 6-0 loss to the hawks of University of Hartford on Sunday. The Hawks turned a 3-0 lead at half to 6-0 behind 36 shots, 18 of which being on goal.
Sophomore Hailey Kepner made 12 saves, including nine in the first half. Two of the Bobcats three shots found their way on goal. Sophomore Megan Hickey recorded the Bobcats two shots on goal while junior Sarah Tonkovich recorded the other shot. Kepner, Hickey, as well as Logan Jennings and Nylah Pannebaker were named to the all-tournament team.
The Bobcats finish the season with 14 wins, an AMCC Runner up trophy, as well as being the runner up in the ECAC Tournament.
