PITT-GREENSBURG WOMEN'S SOCCER TO PLAY IN ECAC TOURNAMENT

The Pitt-Greensburg women's soccer team will be traveling to New Jersey to participate in the ECAC Tournament this weekend. The Bobcats will take on FDU-Florham on Saturday at FDU-Florham.

The Bobcats will be led by eight AMCC all-conference players, led by Offensive Player of the Year Maya Wertelet and Co-Defensive Player of the Year Nylah Pannebaker. Wertelet, along with fellow sophomore and first-teamer Megan Hickey were the highest scoring duo in the AMCC, scoring 30 goals combined between the two.

The Bobcats top-five goal scorers were all named to all conference, as well as three of their defensive stalwarts. Panenbaker, as well as Julia Rowe and Hailey Kepner were part of the one of best defensive units in the conference, conceding just 24 goals and recording 12 clean sheets.

The Bobcats have never matched up with FDU-Florham. The Devils went 11-8-1 on the season, including 2-5 in their conference.
