Anna Batrus, Penn State Altoona, Women's Volleyball (Defensive)November 06, 2023Batrus led the Lions in digs during a 3-0 week of play, including two AMCC wins that clinched the conference regular season title for Penn State Altoona. In Tuesday night's 3-1 win at AMCC foe La Roche, she finished with 27 digs. On Saturday, in a 3-0 win over AMCC opponent Wells, she posted 13 digs. Later that day, in a 3-2 victory over non-conference opponent Alfred, she tallied a career-best 32 digs. On the week, Batrus recorded 72 digs for an average of 6.0 digs per set.

Alison Humberston, Carlow University, Women's Volleyball (Offensive)November 06, 2023Humberston led the Celtics to a 2-0 week in conference action. She led the charge with 34 kills, averaging 4.24 kills per set and a .250 hitting percentage while also tallying four blocks. She recorded 36.5 points over the course of two games for an average of 4.6 points per set.

Kadence Della Valle, Mount Aloysius College, Women's Volleyball (Defensive)October 30, 2023Della Valle helped the Mounties to a 2-0 week with a very solid defensive performance. In the Mounties' win against Penn State Altoona, Della Valle had 46 receptions and just one error, to go with 28 digs (7.00 digs per set). She followed that up with 18 digs and 14 receptions, with just one error, in a win against Hilbert on Sunday. For the week, Della Valle averaged 6.57 digs per set.

Madison Friess, Pitt-Greesburg, Women's VolleyballOctober 30, 2023Friess recorded the program's first 20-20 game ever in a win against Carlow. She led the Bobcats with 26 kills and 27 digs in the match, along with three blocks and two aces. She followed that up against Penn State Behrend and Oberlin with a combined 23 kills, 20 digs, two blocks and two aces, recording a double-double in the match with Penn State Behrend. For the week, Friess averaged 4.08 kills per set, 3.92 digs per set, while adding five blocks, four service aces, and three assists. She racked up 57.5 points on the week, averaging 4.8 points per set (including 5.5 points per set in conference play).

Anna Batrus, Penn State Altoona, Women's Volleyball (Defensive)October 23, 2023Batrus led the Lions in digs during a 2-0 week of AMCC play that consisted of a pair of 3-0 sweeps over Carlow and Pitt-Bradford. Against Carlow at home on Tuesday night, the junior totaled 17 digs. She finished with 16 at Pitt-Bradford on Saturday. On the week, Batrus totaled 33 digs and averaged 5.5 digs per set.

Nayomie Ferrer Santiago, Alfred State College, Women's Volleyball (Offensive)October 23, 2023Ferrer Santiago tallied two double-doubles on the week while totaling 91 assists, 42 digs, 13 aces, and nine kills. In the first match against Wells she came away with 43 assists, 22 digs, and five aces. She followed that with a 27 assist, and nine kill game against Pitt. Greensburg. She ended the week with a 21 assist, 11 dig game, while also adding six aces.

Mackenzie Kerkan, La Roche University, Women's Volleyball (Defensive)October 16, 2023Kerkan had another strong week defensively, with 50 digs in two matches. She averaged 5.2 digs per set in a 3-2 win against Carlow, then averaged 8.00 digs per set against Alfred State. Kerkan also added nine assists, one kill and a service ace to her weekly total.

Miah Williamson, Wells College, Women's Volleyball (Offensive)October 16, 2023Williamson helped lead the Express to two big road conference wins this week. Against Hilbert, she had 10 kills on a .450% and against Carlow, she had 14 kills on a .400%. She also had three service aces against Hilbert and two against Carlow. On the week, Williamson averaged 3.43 kills per set with a .420 hitting percentage while adding seven blocks and seven digs. Williamson leads the Express in kills per set (2.82), total kills (189), hitting percentage (.322), and blocks per set (.75) this season. She is currently second in the conference in hitting percentage and fifth in aces per set. She has played a huge role in helping the Express find their way to being tied for first in the conference.

AMCC WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL GAME OF THE WEEK: PENN STATE BEHREND @ PENN STATE ALTOONAOctober 13, 2023The Penn State Behrend Lions and Penn State Altoona Lions will clash on Saturday afternoon in the AMCC Women's Volleyball Game of the Week. Behrend and Altoona are two of the final three teams undefeated in the AMCC, with Wells College being the third.

Lacee Barnhart, Penn State Altoona, Women's Volleyball (Defensive)October 09, 2023Barnhart had a strong week defensively for the Lions in a pair of 3-0 wins over AMCC opponents Pitt-Greensburg and Hilbert, totaling 21 digs in each match. She compiled 42 digs on the week and averaged 7.0 digs per set, while also chipping in one block assist.

Molly Richards, Mount Aloysius College, Women's Volleyball (Offensive)October 09, 2023Richards had a big week for the Mounties, as she leads the AMCC in both total kills and total digs after the first two conference matches. In the Mounties' win against La Roche, she registered 23 kills and an impressive 35 digs, helping the Mounties come-from-behind to beat the Redhawks. Then, in Saturday's match against Penn State Behrend, the sophomore tallied 24 kills and racked up another 27 digs. Not only did she have high totals, she also ranks first in kills per set (4.70) and fourth in digs per set (6.20).

Anna Batrus, Penn State Altoona, Women's Volleyball (Defensive)October 02, 2023Batrus continued to thrive as the starting libero for the Lions last week in a trio of non-conference matches. In Wednesday night's loss at Gettysburg, she posted 16 digs. In a win over Penn State Berks on Saturday, she had 28, then followed that up with 15 digs later that day in a loss to Stevenson. On the week, Batrus recorded 59 digs and averaged 5.9 digs per set.

Nayomie Ferrer Santiago, Alfred State College, Women's Volleyball (Offensive)October 02, 2023Santiago ended the weekend with three double-doubles, as she tallied 92 assists at 8.32 assists per set, 40 digs, 15 kills, and 14 aces. In the first game against SUNY Poly, she tallied 30 assists,16 digs, seven aces, and five kills. She followed that with a 37 assist and 14 dig double-double against SUNY Canton. She also added six kills and two aces. Santiago ended the weekend with 25 assists and 10 digs against Oswego. She also came away with five aces and four kills.
