DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Mount Aloysius DS/L Kadence Della Valle helped the Mounties to a 2-0 week with a very solid defensive performance. In the Mounties' win against Penn State Altoona, Della Valle had 46 receptions and just one error, to go with 28 digs (7.00 digs per set). She followed that up with 18 digs and 14 receptions, with just one error, in a win against Hilbert on Sunday. For the week, Della Valle averaged 6.57 digs per set. 

BEST OF THE REST: La Roche DS Mackenzie Kerkan continues her strong play on the defensive end, as she opened Saturday's tri-match with a 34 dig performance to go alongside 43 receptions without an error in La Roche's 3-2 win over Wells, then in game two against Westminster, she played all five sets in a limited fashion, and picked up 10 more digs, 27 receptions with just one error and two service aces...PS-Behrend L Sara Nobach led the Lions to a 3-0 week, including two conference wins, as she averaged 4.00 digs per set, registering double-digit digs in each match, posting 15 digs against Hilbert and Oberlin, while also recording eight aces and seven assists...PS-Altoona L Anna Batrus led the Lions in digs again last week in matches against AMCC opponents Mount Aloysius and Alfred State, as she recorded 20 digs in Wednesday night's loss at Mount Aloysius, then finished with a team-high 26 digs in Saturday afternoon's home victory over Alfred State...Alfred State OH Racquel Gerstenberger tallied a double-double with 20 digs and 19 kills in the Pioneers' single game against Altoona...Hilbert L Natalie Ruhlmann was strong defensive presence for the Hawks with 27 digs and added a service ace...Carlow S Meghan Alexander had 26 digs on the week as Carlow went 1-1...Pitt-Bradford DS Kayla Maslowski totaled 38 digs over two matches for the Panthers this week, averaging 4.75 per set in two matches, while also adding four service aces.
