The Hilbert women’s volleyball team is off to the program’s fastest start. The Hawks are excited to open the AMCC league schedule at 7-7, the best record in program history having extended their matches to an extra 11 sets played this season. Sophomore Opposite Michaela Rice leads the Hawks with 117 kills (2.25 kps) while transfer setter Jessee Jonathan carries to load with 352 assists (6.64 aps), leads with 24 services aces and is second in digs per set (3.40).  Junior MB Katie Kociszewski has recorded 25 blocks and is second in service aces (20) while junior MB Maria Spinelli is credited with 14 solo blocks through 14 games.  Junior libero transfer Natalie Ruhlmann leads with 4.60 digs per set (244).

Alfred State has put in very consist numbers this season but has come up unlucky at times. The Pioneers enter conference play with a 7-6 overall record. The reigning AMCC Offensive Player of the Week Nayomie Ferrer Santiago is coming off an incredible week where she tallied a double-double in all three games. She totaled 92 assists at an 8.32 assists per set clip, to go along with her 40 digs, 15 kills, and 14 aces. Racquel Gerstenberger is putting together a great senior campaign averaging 3.72 kills per set and 3.11 digs per set. The Pioneers will look to start off AMCC play on the right foot on Wednesday.
