OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Pitt-Greensburg OH Madison Friess recorded the program's first 20-20 game ever in a win against Carlow. She led the Bobcats with 26 kills and 27 digs in the match, along with three blocks and two aces. She followed that up against Penn State Behrend and Oberlin with a combined 23 kills, 20 digs, two blocks and two aces, recording a double-double in the match with Penn State Behrend. For the week, Friess averaged 4.08 kills per set, 3.92 digs per set, while adding five blocks, four service aces, and three assists. She racked up 57.5 points on the week, averaging 4.8 points per set (including 5.5 points per set in conference play). 

 

BEST OF THE REST: Mount Aloysius OH Madison Johnson helped lead the Mounties to a 2-0 week in conference play, as she had nine kills and committed just one error, while adding a block, to take down the undefeated Altoona Lions, she then had a career day against Hilbert, tallying 13 kills and one error, for a hitting percentage of .500...La Roche MH Quinn Hughes led La Roche to a 3-2 victory to open the day over Wells, finishing that game with a career high 17 kills to go alongside a .438 hitting percentage, while adding eight digs, eight total blocks...PS-Altoona MB Taylor Myers was the top point-scorer for the Lions during a 1-1 week of AMCC play, as she compiled 29.5 points (3.3 points per set), 22 kills (2.44 kills per set), six total blocks (0.67 blocks per set), and four aces (0.44 aces per set). She also recorded a solid .302 attack percentage...Alfred State S Nayomie Ferrer Santiago made the most of a single-game week by tallying 50 assists, 31 digs, and three aces,as she averaged 10.00 assists per set and 6.20 digs per set...Hilbert S Jessee Jonathan continues to add in every category while running the Hawks offense, as she added two aces, five kills, and 16 digs on top of her 29 assists...Carlow OH Rebecca Hess helped lead Carlow last week, as she recorded a double-double of 16 kills and 23 digs in a 3-2 loss at UPG, then on Saturday picked up another double-double with a game-high 13 kills and 14 digs for the sweep of Pitt Bradford...Pitt-Bradford MH Summer Anderson recorded 17 kills for the Panthers this week, as she recorded 14 kills in a tough loss to Wells, while posting a .433 hitting percentage in the match, while also chipping in on the defensive end with six total blocks and a dig.
