The final AMCC Women's Volleyball Game of the Week features the 7-1 Penn State Behrend Lions traveling to Pittsburgh, PA to take on the 5-3 La Roche University Redhawks. 

The Behrend Lions are tied with Penn State Altoona for the top spot in the AMCC. Behrend can clinch the No. 1 seed with a win over La Roche on Saturday, combined with an Altoona loss. The Lions are 2-0 this week with a pair of 3-0 wins over Wells and Hiram. Last Saturday, Lion Meg Goodsel reached 1,500 career assists, as she leads the AMCC in assists per set (9.16). Hannah Phillips is second in the conference in kills (321) and third in kills per set (3.53). As a team, Behrend leads the AMCC in kills per set with 11.62 and assists per set with 10.67

La Roche enters Saturday’s finale in the midst of a three-way tie for fourth place. Despite falling to Penn State Altoona on Tuesday, 3-1, some help give the Redhawks a chance to potentially host a first round match with a win. Senior Mackenzie Kerkan and junior Quinn Hughes highlights the defense end. Kerkan leads the AMCC in total digs (468) and digs per set (5.51). Hughes on the other hand, leads the AMCC in blocking, with 96 total blocks and a 1.14 average per set. Offensively, Kalli Grine leads the Redhawks with 176 kills and in her last four matches, has 49 kills and has hit over .200 each match.
