NUSBAUM NAMED GOLFER OF THE YEAR AS ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM IS RELEASED

Penn State Altoona junior Peter Nusbaum has been named the AMCC Men's Golfer of the Year for the second year in a row. Nusbaum led the AMCC in Scoring Average with 73.3. He was 98-3-3 head-to-head against AMCC opponents, not including his PSA teammates. He shot a 67 in Round 2 of the AMCC Championships, tying his own PSA school-record low round (also shot once by Trey Heffelfinger). Nusbaum was the individual medalist and named to the All-Tournament Team at the AMCC Championship Tournament.

Mount Aloysius College freshman Josh Nicholl has been tabbed as the AMCC Newcomer of the Year. Nicholl recorded four top ten finishes this season. He set the school record for the lowest two-day tournament score and finished second in the AMCC Championship Tournament after holding a first day lead. He scored the lowest score in every event for the Mounties this season.

For the fourth time in the past five years, Penn State Altoona head coach Tom Koehle has been named the AMCC Men's Golf Coach of the Year. Koehle led the Lions to their fourth consecutive AMCC conference title this season.
