PENN STATE ALTOONA MEN'S GOLF RECOGNIZED AS ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM BY GCAA

The Penn State Altoona men’s golf team was named an NCAA Division III All-Academic Team on Tuesday afternoon, when the Golf Coaches Association of America announced its Outstanding Team Academic Awards.

 

This is the second time in program history that the Penn State Altoona men’s golf team has been recognized as an All-Academic Team by the GCAA.

 

A total of 240 schools across six divisions earned an Outstanding Team Academic Award from the GCAA. The Presidents Special Recognition category honors college golf teams with cumulative grade-point averages of 3.5 or higher during the 2023-24 season, and the All-Academic Team category recognizes those teams who compiled cumulative GPAs of 3.0 or higher in 2023-24.

 

Penn State Altoona was one of 30 NCAA Division III teams to earn All-Academic Team status for having a GPA of 3.0 or above this past season.
