The Franciscan University women's tennis wrapped up its season at the NCAA tournament as Kenyon College won the first-round match, 5-0, Friday afternoon.

#1 Franciscan University claimed its second AMCC women's tennis title after defeating #2 Penn State Behrend 5-2 Saturday afternoon at The Club/Sport and Health in Monroeville, PA.

Haddad helped the Lady Barons capture the 2016 AMCC women's tennis crown with a pair of wins in singles at the AMCC tournament . Haddad beat her No. 4 singles opponent on Saturday against Penn State Altoona with scores of 6-2, 6-2 before coming back on Saturday and defeating her PSB opponent 6-0, 6-4 for the second singles win of the day and gave the Lady Barons a 4-2 lead in the match.

The field is set for the 2016 AMCC women's tennis championship, which will feature #1 Franciscan University and #2 Penn State Behrend.

Huwe helped the Redhawks advance to the AMCC Semifinal with a 5-1 win over Mt. Aloysius. She teamed with Sarah Brunner to win 8-6 at No. 2 doubles and then secured La Roche's spot in the tournament semis with a 6-0, 6-0 sweep in singles action.
