DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Behrend GK Ania Gorski picked up a pair of wins this week for the Lions. She made six saves for the overtime win against Houghton and then allowed just one goal on Saturday against Altoona for a 0.47 goals-against average and .900 save percentage. 

BEST OF THE REST: Pitt-Greensburg GK Shannon Edwards totaled four saves over two games and did not allow a goal in 114:20 of action while posting her third shutout of the season to help guide the Bobcats to the win at Medaille...Mount Aloysius D Summer Schell contributed to a 2-0 week for the Mounties as she led the defense while also contributing a goal and an assist in the Mounties win against D'Youville, with her goal coming from a free kick from 20 yards out that she rocketed into the top left corner of the goal...La Roche D Marissa Johnson scored the game-winning goal in a 2-0 week, scoring on a free kick with just under six minutes left to defeat Franciscan...Hilbert D Brooklynn Gormel returned to play after missing six games due to an injury, scoring the game-winning goal for the Hawks in a 2-1 win over Pitt-Bradford and breaking up countless attacks by La Roche...Franciscan D Alice Flanagan led the Lady Baron defense to a 1-1 week in conference action, limiting opponents to five shots on goal...Medaille SO Deejah Burgess continues to play great between the pipes for Medaille, as she made an incredible 19 saves last week against two AMCC foes, including 11 against D'Youville which was the sixth time this season she had double digit saves...Pitt-Bradford GK Sarah Dailey made seven saves and posted a .538 save percentage in the team's two conference games this week.
