Penn State Behrend junior forward Alex Bilka has been tabbed the 2015 AMCC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Year. During the regular season, Bilka led the AMCC in conference-only goals (11), assists (11), and points (33). She also led the conference in overall assists (11) and points (41) and was second in overall goals (15). She tied for first nationally for single-game assists with four, tied 19th nationally in assists per game, and tied 13th nationally in total assists. Bilka was a first team all-conference selection both as a freshman and sophomore and was second team all-region in 2014. The team captain was part of the top goal-scoring offense in conference-only goals (37), more than double the amount of goals of the second highest team.
Pitt-Bradford sophomore goalkeeper Sarah Dailey is the AMCC Defensive Player of the Year. Dailey started all 17 games and played every minute of every game. She led the Panthers to a conference-best 1.21 goals against average, including an AMCC-best 0.43 GAA in nine conference games. Dailey also led the conference with an overall .832 save percentage and a .911 save percentage in nine conference games. She posted an AMCC-best five shutouts in conference play and had six overall. Dailey allowed just four goals in conference play. She was a third team all-conference selection as a freshman.
Pitt-Greensburg freshman forward Kayleen Schwegler picked up the 2015 AMCC Newcomer of the Year honors. Schwegler burst onto the AMCC scene, finishing second in conference goals (9) and third in overall goals (13). She also ranked third in both conference (18) and overall (26) points, while placing second in conference shots (51) and overall shots (77). Schwegler's four conference game-winning goals, and five overall, were good enough to lead the conference in both categories. The rookie led Pitt-Greensburg in all major scoring categories this season with 13 goals on 79 shots for 26 points in 1375 minutes played.
Pitt-Greensburg's Chuck Wigle and Pitt-Bradford's Mike Idland have been named 2015 AMCC Co-Coaches of the Year. After missing the playoffs in 2014, Wigle led the Bobcats to a 6-1-2 AMCC record this season and secured the #3 seed in the conference tournament. Idland guided the Panthers to a 7-1 conference mark and earned the top seed in the tournament after being named regular season champions.
