PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Medaille OH Chris Pauline had a huge week for the Mavericks leading them to a 2-0 record in AMCC action. Pauline started out his week with a match-high 16 kills in a straight sets 3-0 win over Penn St.-Behrend. He also had a match-high 14 kills in a 3-0 victory over Penn St.-Altoona. On the week, Pauline averaged 5.00 kills per set, along with a .356 hitting percentage, six blocks, 13 digs and 30 kills for 6.3 points per set.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Hiram RS Kilvio Montero led the Terriers in kills over their two matches against Altoona and Thiel, as he tallied a career-high 22 kills in the Terriers' five-set win over Altoona...Geneva MB Peter Barbato led Geneva to three wins this week, averaging 3.22 kills per set, 2.33 digs per set, 0.67 blocks per set and 0.44 assists per set, including a double-double against Penn State Behrend with 14 kills and 13 digs...PS-Altoona OH Jared Bodisch helped lead the Lions to a 2-2 week of AMCC play, totaling 38 points (2.5 points per set), 33 kills (2.20 kills per set), 28 digs (1.87 digs per set), four service aces (0.27 aces per set), and two block assists (0.13 blocks per set)...Thiel OH Zac Smith recorded 25 digs, 22 kills and four blocks in three matches last week for the Tomcats, as he tallied nine kills, eight digs and two assists in a 3-0 win over Hilbert...PS-Behrend OH Colin Dedert averaged 3.71 kills and 2.57 digs per set this week, tying his career high with 17 kills against Geneva, while also adding four aces and three blocks.
