PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Hiram OH Tom Supan led the Terriers in kills in their comeback win over Geneva, falling one short of tying his career-high (23). Supan tied for second-most kills in a match in program history and second-most attacks in a match in program history. He averaged 4.40 kills per set along with 10 digs (2.00 digs per set) and a block in the victory. 

 

BEST OF THE REST: Geneva MB Peter Barbato has led Geneva so far this season with 107 kills (3.82 k/s) on a .213 hitting percentage. He also has a team-high 23 aces (0.82 sa/s) to go along with 51 digs (1.82 d/s). He tied a school record with 26 kills on a .317 hitting percentage against Hiram, and he tied a school-record with eight service aces in the season opener at Alderson Broaddus...Thiel OH Zac Smith recorded eight kills, seven digs and an assist for the Tomcats in a 3-0 loss to Geneva on Feb. 18...Medaille OH Malachi Jackson opened up the 2021 season with 12 kills in the Mavericks' sweep over D'Youville, his 4.00 kills per set would put him second in the AMCC in that category and also ranks second in hitting percentage with a (0.375), he added three digs, two assists and a block in the win against the Saints.
