GENEVA MEN'S VOLLEYBALL IS EXPECTED AMCC FRONTRUNNER IN 2021

After a shortened men’s volleyball season in 2020 due to the emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic, the AMCC men’s volleyball players and coaches are ready to get the 2021 conference schedule started this weekend. Geneva College, who started out 5-0 in conference play a season ago before everything came to a screeching halt, has been selected to finish at the top of the conference this year. AMCC coaches selected Penn State Behrend to finish in second place, with Penn State Altoona rounding out the top three.

Hiram College junior OH Tom Supan is the AMCC Preseason Player of the Year. Supan was an AMCC first team all-conference selection last year. He put down 3.50 kills per set to rank #3 in league, along with 23 aces, which was tied for second in the conference. Supan tallied double-digit kills in nine matches during the 2020 shortened season.

The AMCC Championship will be held April 10 at the site of the #1 seed.
