SWIMMER OF THE WEEK: PS-Behrend SR Tim Compton set two pool records on Saturday in a win over Pitt-Bradford. Compton won the 200 butterfly in a new pool time of 1:58.10 and then swimming in the first-place 200 medley relay in a new pool time of 1:37.72. Compton also won the 100 butterfly (52.95) to give him three wins on the day.
BEST OF THE REST: Pitt-Bradford JR Conan Young won two races and set a pool record for Pitt-Bradford, as he broke the Duke Aquatic Center mark in the 1000 Freestyle with a time of 10:13.44, breaking the old record by two seconds and defeating the field by 41 seconds. He also won the 200-yard Individual Medley with a time of 2:07.13...PS-Altoona FR Shuo Sun had a team-high two individual first places and was also part of a relay victory, helping the Lions to a win at non-conference opponent McDaniel on Saturday. Shuo came first in the 200 Yard Freestyle after finishing in 1:50.99, and he later notched his second win of the meet in the 500 Yard Freestyle, taking first place with a time of 5:13.46. He also helped his team place first in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay with a combined time of 3:29.42.
