Pitt-Bradford has named Douglas Alban the new head swimming coach of the Panthers' men's and women's teams.

Alfred State University will join the AMCC as an affiliate member in the sports of men's and women's swimming and diving and men's lacrosse, effective for the 2016-17 season.

Cabrini College men's and women's swimming and diving teams, along with the Penn State Behrend women were recognized as a Scholar All-American teams by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for their academic performances during the 2016 spring semester.

All institution sport teams which compete for an AMCC championship may select one member from their team who displays good sportsmanship throughout the season to be a member of the All-AMCC Sportsmanship Team.

Penn State Behrend junior Nick Kost has been named the AMCC Men's Swimmer of the Year.

The Penn State Behrend men's swimming and diving team won their 10th straight AMCC Championship with an impressive finals competition on Saturday evening hosted by Grove City.

Roth led the Lions at the AMCC Championships, winning three individual events and two relays. He was named the highest point scorer at the meet. Roth earned gold in the 200 butterfly, 100 butterfly and 500 free. He was also a part of the winning 200 medley relay and 800 free relay.

The Penn State Behrend men's swimming and diving team continue their commanding lead at the 2016 AMCC Championships after the second day of competition on Saturday.

The Penn St. Behrend men and women both are in the lead after day one of the AMCC Swimming and Diving Championship hosted by Grove City College.

The AMCC men's swimming and diving championships will be held February 10-13 at Grove City College.

Nguyen posted three wins against Pitt-Bradford. He was instrumental in the opening 200 medley relay with a winning time 1:41.58. The senior then won the 100 breastroke (1:02.26) and the 200 breaststroke (2:19.05) to help Behrend cruise to the victory over Pitt-Bradford. In a tri-meet on Saturday, Nguyren had a second-place finish in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:03.54 and then took third in the 200 breaststroke (2:22.35).

Polidoro picked up three individual wins and one relay win in his team's victory over Wells last Tuesday night. In the 1000 Yard Freestyle, he won with a time of 11:22.35. Later in the meet, Polidoro earned first place in the 50 Yard Freestyle, finishing in 23.97. The rookie pulled off the trifecta by winning the 500 Yard Freestyle in 5:23.44. In the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay, he was part of the first place team that combined to post a time of 1:37.75.

Walker was victorious in the 200 yard backstroke against Ursinus, finishing with a time of 2:03.24. Walker also added a second place finish in the 200 yard freestyle, reaching the wall in 1:53.05. Walker's efforts carried over into Saturday's tri-meet against Widener and Wilkes, as the junior swimmer led the men's team with a first place finish in the 500 yard freestyle, reaching the wall in 5:02.82. Walker also added second place finish in the 200 yard individual medley in 2:11.69.

Tallon led the Blue and White to a 105-98 win over Elizabethtown. The senior churned out a first place finish in the 1000 freestyle (11:32.04) and another win in the 500 freestyle, reaching the wall in :30.91.

Siggins was the lone swimmer with two individual wins for the Lions on Saturday. He was first in the 50 free (23.67) and in the 100 free (51.81).

Bachner won two individual events on Saturday, winning both diving competitions. He took first in the one-meter board with a score of 188.80 and then won the three-meter board (169.35).
