Chris Ralph, Penn State Behrend, Defensive Player of the Week
Ralph recorded shutouts in both games for the Lions this past week. In the first game against a very tough John Carroll squad, Ralph made the lone save on the Blue Streaks shot on goal. On Saturday against Allegheny, Ralph continued to be a wall for Behrend recording his second shutout, saving all four shots on goal. Ralph now had four shutouts on the season with a .62 GAA.

BEST OF THE REST: Mount Aloysius GK Kyle Lachance allowed just one goal in 200 minutes of action while making nine saves in a 1-0-1 week for the Mounties...Franciscan D Dominic Vander Woude anchored the Baron defense to their first shutout of the 2016 season and second-straight win, the defense allowed only three shots on goal and eight total shots...La Roche D Dylan Weyand made two stops on an open net to help the Redhawks beat Marietta 1-0 in overtime...Hilbert GK Ryan Valentine had a great week making some important saves for the hawks this week, helping the team to keep the lead in their first win of the season.
