Men’s lacrosse returns to the AMCC in 2024 for the first time since the spring 2019 season, as Alfred State College has brought back their program and Pitt-Bradford has added the program.

Men’s lacrosse returns to the AMCC in 2024 for the first time since the spring 2019 season, as Alfred State College has brought back their program and Pitt-Bradford has added the program. The Pioneers and Panthers join Hilbert College and La Roche University in 2025. Alfred State and Hilbert College are expected to finish at the top of conference standings, according to league coaches. While Pitt-Bradford and La Roche University are expected to fill in the final two spots, respectively.
Hilbert senior A Joey DiMaria has been tabbed as the AMCC Preseason Offensive Player of the Year, while Hawk senior GK Griffin Miller has been named the Preseason Defensive Player of the Year.
DiMaria finished the 2024 season with a team-high 12 assists and was second on the team in goals (23) and points (35). He surpassed the 100 career point mark last season and currently has 104 with 69 goals and 35 assists.
Miller finished the 2024 season ranked third in the nation with a .632 save percentage. He was 22nd nationally with 14.8 saves per game and anchored a Hawk defense that finished 21st in the nation in scoring defense. He eclipsed the 400 career saves mark in 2024.
The AMCC tournament kicks off on Wednesday, April 30 and will conclude with the conference championship game on Saturday, May 3. All games throughout the tournament will be played at the site of the higher seed.
