MEDAILLE'S CHUCK PANEPINTO TAKES FIRST IN D'YOUVILLE SPARTAN SHOOTOUT

Medaille College sophomore Chuck Panepinto shot a career best (74/+3) to win the D'Youville College Spartan Shootout by five strokes over runner-up Cam Eddy of Niagara County Community College (79/+8). Panepinto led the Mavs (334/+50) to a second place finish behind Niagara County Community College (327/+43). Hilbert College (355/+71) finished third while D'Youville (365/+81) was fourth.

Medaille sophomore Zach Lewandowski shot an 83/+12 to finish in a tie for sixth place. Junior Adam Kroll also finished in the top ten with a ninth place finish (84/+13).

Hilbert was led by the sophomore trio of Caleb Nellis, Jeff Morgan, and Ryan Bungo. Nellis earned his first top three finish when he reported his personal-best 80. Morgan worked his way around the 18 holes with an 81 score, good for fourth, and Bungo ended in a two-way 10th place tie with his career best 85.

D'Youville freshman Mackenzie Cox was the top golfer for the Spartans, shooting an 85 and tying for 10th place.
