BEHREND'S FUKON, MEDAILLE'S GRAVES NAMED AMCC CO-PLAYERS OF THE YEAR

Penn State Behrend senior guard Kenny Fukon and Medaille College senior guard/forward Rodney Graves have been named the AMCC Co-Players of the Year. 

Despite missing time due to injury, Fukon was still the Lions second-leading scorer with 321 total points. Fukon finished the regular season ranked fifth in the conference with a scoring average of 16.9 and third with 7.6 rebounds per game. He ended the year with five double-doubles and hit double-digit point totals on 17 different occasions including five 20+ point performances.

Graves averaged 18.5 points and over six rebounds per game. He shot 46.3% from the field, 40% from three and 84% from the free throw Line. Graves recorded one double-double against Mt. Aloysius. His best game, against Cazenovia, was one rebound shy of a double-double, dropping 42 points while shooting .632 from the field, and .500 in three-pointers. He also recorded eight games with 20+ points.

Penn State Altoona junor guard/forward Andruw Harman has been tabbed as the Defensive Player of the Year. In the AMCC overall this season, he tied for first in blocks per game (1.4) and was second in blocks (33), third in defensive rebounds (127), fourth in defensive rebounds per game (5.3), 13th in steals (29), and 17th in steals per game (1.2). In his 16-game AMCC schedule, he was first in blocks (23), second in defensive rebounds (95), and fifth in steals (22).

La Roche University freshman forward Kadyn Hannah has been named the Newcomer of the Year. Hannah had a standout rookie season with five games of 20 points or more, along with a career-high of 36 points against Hilbert. Hannah averaged 15.5 points per game in conference play and shot 58.9 percent from the field. He netted 327 points during the regular season and averaged 6.3 rebounds per contest, while also adding 19 blocks and 23 steals.

Coach of the Year honors goes to Penn State Altoona's David McGreal. McGreal led Penn State Altoona to its best season in program history during 2021-22, setting new team records for the most overall wins (18), most AMCC wins in a season (13), best regular season finish in the AMCC standings (earned second seed in the conference tournament), and first AMCC co-regular season champion title.
