
PITCHER OF THE WEEK: Alfred State SR Ryan Bailey pitched a complete game shutout in an 11-0 win against Mt. Aloysius. He pitched 7.0 innings allowing no runs on two hits with 10 strikeouts.
BEST OF THE REST: La Roche SR Larry Bielawski was strong on the mound against Pitt-Bradford in the AMCC opener on Saturday, as he went the distance in game one, allowing just two runs (both unearned), two hits and picked up five strikeouts, while not allowing a hit through the first 5.2 innings pitched...Mount Aloysius SO Scott Ranallo was very effective out of the Mounties' bullpen over the last week. His first appearance came against Franciscan where he was tasked with getting Mounties out of a tight inning, as he got a four-pitch out and the hold, helping the Mounties to the win, he then had his best appearance, on Saturday, against Alfred State. In the Mounties' 18-10 victory, he tossed 6.2 innings to finish the game and allowed just one run while scattering six hits and striking out seven, limiting the Alfred State offense and picking up the win in the process...Pitt-Greensburg SO Conner Burkey threw his third complete game of the season while striking out seven batters and giving up just one earned run in a Bobcat win over Hilbert, he spread four hits across the seven innings and had a k/9 of 9.00...PS-Behrend SR Evan Bromley tossed five innings to go along with five strikeouts and only one earned run against Franciscan in game two of a doubleheader on Saturday to record his second win of the season...Hilbert SR Nolan Evans struck out 10 over six innings of work against Pitt-Greensburg on Saturday to improve his strikeouts per nine for the season to an AMCC-best 11.84, he only allowed five out of 23 batters faced to reach base safely...Pitt-Bradford JR Ethan Zimmerman threw 3.1 innings of relief against La Roche, allowing one unearned run on two hits, he struck out two while also stranding two runners on base when he entered the game.
