PITCHER OF THE WEEK: Mount Aloysius JR Douglas Cannon had an impressive week on the mound, as the Mounties won all four games. Cannon picked up a save in his appearance on Tuesday, going 1.2 innings, only allowing one hit and not allowing a run. On Saturday, he started his first game of the season, going 7.0 innings for a complete game victory over previously unbeaten Alfred State. Cannon leads the AMCC in saves, with six on the season.

BEST OF THE REST: La Roche SR Jake Seymour picked up his second win of the season Saturday afternoon in a 7-1 victory over Penn St. Altoona at home, as he struck out five batters, walked two, gave up only two hits, and had no earned runs in a 7.0 inning, complete game effort, Seymour stuck-out five batters, walked two, gave up only two hits and had no earned runs and is just one of two pitchers in the nation with a 0.00 ERA who has pitched at least 10.0 innings...Alfred State FR Christopher Mattoon was 1-0 with a 2.45 ERA in a pair of appearances (one start & one relief) in AMCC play, as he threw 11 innings and allowed three runs while striking out 11 -- he threw a complete game in a 9-3 victory over Medaille on Wednesday where he didn't walk a batter and struck out eight and then threw four innings of scoreless relief in game one vs. Mt. Aloysius...PS-Altoona FR Kyle Glass tossed a complete game victory in Saturday's win in game one of a doubleheader with AMCC opponent Pitt-Bradford, as he went seven innings, allowing just one run on four hits and two walks while striking out four batters, marking his second collegiate win and second complete game effort...Hilbert SO Misael Guzman Caez tossed a five-hitter to log his first complete game of the season in the Hawks' 8-1 game one win over Medaille on Sunday afternoon, finishing the game with eight strikeouts and allowing just a single run, to earn his first career AMCC victory.
