Jacob had a mammoth week in AMCC play for the Bobcats. The junior finished the week batting .533 (8-for-15) with 3 homers, 1 double, a staggering 10 RBI, and 8 runs scored. Jacob also carried a .529 on-base percentage and 1.200 slugging percentage. On the defensive side, Jacob carried a fielding percentage of .962, fielding 24 of 26 chances. His offensive and defensive contributions helped the Bobcats finish the week 3-1 vs. conference opponents. In the AMCC, Jacob is currently ranked 2nd in batting average (.427), tied for 2nd in RBI (32), and tied for 3rd in home runs (4).
