BEHREND'S CIOCCO EARNS D3BASEBALL.COM TEAM OF THE WEEK HONORS

Penn State Behrend baseball senior designated hitter Mac Ciocco was named to D3baseball.com's 11th Team of the Week for games running through April 21-27.

The Team of the Week is D3baseball.com's weekly honor roll, in its fourteenth season of recognizing the top performers at each of nine positions from the previous week. Players are selected from nominations from their school's sports information directors.

Ciocco slashed .609/.654/1.130 as he hit 14-for-23 with six doubles, two home runs, 10 runs scored, and 19 RBIs in six games played last week.

He also earned Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Player of the Week. Ciocco is currently on a 13-game hitting streak and has reached base in 33 of Behrend's 34 contests this season.
