QUADE, STOUFFER EARN ABCA ALL-REGION HONORS

The American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) announced Mount Aloysius College freshman Tyler Quade and Penn State Behrend junior Isaac Stouffer as Division III All-Region selections, representing Region 7.

Quade, a second team selection, led the AMCC in batting average, hitting .435 on the season, .476 in conference play. He finished first in the league in triples (4), slugging percentage (.794), and total bases (50), in conference play. On the mound, Quade led the league in wins and batting average against (.157). The freshman made five starts, going 4-1, with a 1.29 ERA, and earned a complete game in all five starts. Quade was named the AMCC Newcomer, Player, and Pitcher of the Year this season.

Stouffer, who picked up third team honors, carried a slash line of .364/.451/.662 and drove in a team-high 41 runs. His mark in RBIs placed him third in the conference as his .662 slugging percentage ranked second. Stouffer left the yard nine times this year with three homeruns coming in the AMCC Tournament.
