MOUNT ALOYSIUS' BOWIE NAMED PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Mount Aloysius junior outfielder Connor Bowie has been tabbed as the 2015 AMCC Baseball Player of the Year. Bowie finished the season ranked first in the AMCC with eight homeruns and 21 stolen bases. He also finished second with five triples and a .645 slugging percentage and sixth with 50 hits and 31 RBIs. In addition to being named an AMCC Player of the Week, Bowie was also named to the d3baseball.com national team of the week for April 28th. 

Pitcher of the Year honors goes to La Roche senior Tyler Ferguson. Ferguson led the AMCC in conference games with a 0.32 ERA, while also ranking third in strikeouts (33) and fourth in strikeouts per game (10.61). He led the AMCC with four conference wins and seven overall, and gave up just one earned run against AMCC opponents.

Pitt-Greensburg outfielder Mike Maleski takes home 2015 Newcomer of the Year. The rookie led all AMCC outfielders (and ranked fourth overall) with a .410 batting average. Maleski was fourth in the league with 13 doubles and also ranked in the top 10 in the league in on base percentage (.459) and slugging percentage (.550).

For the fourth time in the past five years, La Roche's Chase Rowe has been named the AMCC Coach of the Year. Rowe led the Redhawks to a 14-2 conference record, their second consecutive AMCC regular season title, and the right to host the conference tournament.
