The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford hosted the local chapter of CARE for Children at the softball field at the Kessel Athletic Complex for a clinic last week.
Pitt-Bradford student-athletes and coaches worked with the children in attendance at hitting, fielding, and throwing stations, before playing a game.
“This is such a great night of softball and fellowship,” said head coach Tina Phillips. “This is one of our favorite things we do as a program, and we always have fun teaching and playing the game to local youth.”
CARE for Children is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to improving the lives of children of all abilities.
