WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY SET TO RUN FOR AMCC CHAMPIONSHIP

Penn State Behrend, eight-time women's cross country champions, is looking to claim its fourth straight conference title this weekend at Franciscan University. 

The Lions have recorded eight of the AMCC's top-ten times this season, highlighted by junior Riley Crissman's 20:05 6K finish at the Berend Invitational on September 14. Senior Jenna Shelton, freshman Hanna Drozynski, and sophomore Kelley Giles, also picked up top-five times, while Crissman also claimed the fifth spot.

Franciscan University senior Grace Galligan is the top runner for the Barons, recording the eighth-best time in the AMCC this season, a 22:47 finish at the Inter-Regional Rumble.

The AMCC Championship will take place on Saturday, October 27 at Franciscan University in Steubenville, OH with the women's race beginning at 11 a.m. All teams will have the opportunity to participate in the NCAA Division III Regional Meet on Saturday, November 10 hosted by DeSales University.
