Melchiorre won the 1,000 yard freestyle and set a new school record, with a final time of 11:27.71. The sophomore also came in first place in the 100 and 500 yard freestyles, reaching the wall in 56.25 and 5:39.84, respectively.

SWIMMER OF THE WEEK: Cabrini SO Christina Melchiorre won the 1,000 yard freestyle and set a new school record, with a final time of 11:27.71. The sophomore also came in first place in the 100 and 500 yard freestyles, reaching the wall in 56.25 and 5:39.84, respectively.


BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend SO Kristin Owens picked up two individual wins against Cabrini on Tuesday, she won the 200 butterfly (2:33.94), before capturing the 200 IM (2:30.53).
