Christina Melchiorre, Cabrini College

Despite the 154-92 loss to Widener on Saturday, Melchiorre found some individual success, placing first in the 200 and 500 yard freestyle in 2:04.18 and 5:36.14, respectively. Melchiorre also combined with teammates to capture a victory in the 200 yard freestyle relay, reaching the wall in 1:47.77.

SWIMMER OF THE WEEK:  Despite the 154-92 loss to Widener on Saturday, Cabrini SO Christina Melchiorre found some individual success, placing first in the 200 and 500 yard freestyle in 2:04.18 and 5:36.14, respectively. Melchiorre also combined with teammates to capture a victory in the 200 yard freestyle relay, reaching the wall in 1:47.77.

BEST OF THE REST:  Pitt-Bradford FR Calli Cody won the 50 free and anchored the winning 200 free relay as the Panthers defeated Cabrini and fell to Franciscan…Franciscan SR Maria Giuliani won the 100 and 200 freestyle events in 95-90 win over Pitt-Bradford.
