Santia anchored the defense in both games for the Bobcats this week, playing in 164 of 180 minutes. Santia led a defensive group that allowed only five shots and one on goal in two games, helping the team to a 1-0-1 start in conference play. Santia also contributed an assist in the win over Pitt-Bradford.

BEST OF THE REST: Alfred State GK Madeline Cox tallied two shutout wins on the week, as she notched four saves, including two in each game...PS-Altoona GK Mya Torres made 10 stops between the pipes last Tuesday night, posting the shutout as Penn State Altoona tied AMCC opponent Pitt-Greensburg 0-0 at home...Hilbert D Alex Frydel had another solid outing proving to be a force in the back, she has also exhibited excellent versatility when needed being able to move around the formation to give the Hawks advantages all over the pitch...PS-Behrend D Angelina Compeggie scored her first goal of the season and anchored the defense that held Mt. Aloysius without a shot over 90 minutes on Saturday...Mount Aloysius GK McKenna Meadows faced one of the most high-powered attacks in the country and responded with 19 saves, breaking the Mount Aloysius women's soccer program record for most stops in a single game, her record-setting effort also lifted her season total to 117, which already ranks third all-time for most in a single season at Mount Aloysius, she recorded 29 saves over two matches last week.
