Moon had a strong defensive week for an Express team that has been great on the receiving end of opposing attacks during the past couple weeks. The sophomore setter was all over the court during Wells' three matches this past week, recording 28 total digs and an average of 3.11 digs per set. This was all done while also adding 75 assists to his already impressive assist total for the year.

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend SO Lewis Rhodes tallied eight blocks in two matches, posting three vs. Wells and five vs. St. Vincent, as he also added four kills, three digs and one ace....Hilbert L Michael Pozzuto held the Hawks strong defensively in two wins last week with six assists, 24 digs, and receiving at .917 on 36 receptions...PS-Altoona OH/L Xavier Vang led Penn State Altoona in digs last week, when the Lions took on AMCC opponent Hiram and non-conference foe Chatham, as he posted a match-high 13 digs in Wednesday night's 3-0 road loss to Hiram, eh follow that up with four digs in Saturday's 3-0 home victory over Chatham...Thiel L Cameron Long recorded 18 digs in the Tomcats' narrow 3-2 loss to Hilbert on Wednesday, averaging 3.60 digs per set...Carlow S/L James Stone picked up 29 digs this week (19 in AMCC action), as he recorded 32 total assists and led the team with four service aces.
