PENN STATE ALTOONA, BEHREND SWIMMING & DIVING NAMED SCHOLAR ALL-AMERICA TEAMS

The Penn State Altoona and Penn State Behrend men's and women's swimming and diving teams have been named a 2019-20 Division III Scholar All-America Team by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), on Tuesday.

The CSCAA has named 461 teams, representing 17,982 student-athletes, to its Scholar All-America list for the Spring 2020 semester.  The CSCAA recognizes teams with the Scholar All-America Award for achieving a team grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher. Additional institutional adjustments to grading systems resulted in GPA's nearly one-quarter letter grade higher than previously. As a result, the CSCAA will not be publishing team GPA's.  This semester's list also does not include teams at institutions that switched entirely to pass/fail grading.
